I was wondering if you could use the Hydroponic Lamp 225 LED Grow light Panel Red Blue 110 V, 2501MX for a grow light, or if I should just get some cfl's for my white dwarf in a hydro system?

You are better off going with a HPS. LED's still have a few more years to go before they become as efficient as HPS. If you don't have money for a HPS, use CFL's.
