New as low as 175.00 if you look around..
The settings are for 400, 600, and 1000 watts.....You could run a 1 K bulb at 1K, 600 or 400 or a 600 at 600 or 400 and NOT at 1K or a 400 at 400 ONLY...

Ceramic discharge Metal Halide = CMH
Expensive! 315w with hood and special square wave electronic ballast = $500+ This covers only a 3x3 area....

Good luck, but use 4- 65w, 1 ea side (front, back, and both sides.) and if you can find them, go to 7200 k at bloom. Put the lights in painters shrouds for focus, and you should grow some decent plants. Have fun
