Lilly - Zensation MOC

Here is my latest grow, Lilly, she is a photo girl so all my unnecessary but FUN pruning will not effect her total yield so much. Of course it slows her down but I am not in a rush as she is all mine! Muhuhahahaha! This is her first week out of germ and in her bath.

She is really healthy here with the exception of the leaf twist, that was due to the addition of a second LED panel on the side of the plant. But really healthy green color, with thick stiff leaves.

I don't know if this is a negative other than costing time, but I tend to trim off the shade/fan leaves to give the suckers an opportunity to turn into additional colas.

Had meter issues, and low calcium (very light green leaves) She is recovering now. And with the colas developed I believe by the end of the week it will be time to raise the light and let her stretch for a week or so, then off to flower. Updates to come.

She is a touchy girl! I thought I was the only one growing her but I guess I was off. Anyway she likes a high N and Calcium to keep her a dark green and to see the fan leafs shining.
I am running the pH @ 5.8 (ideal) and experimenting with EC on the mom at around 2.12 and on the clone at 3.40 or so.
The clone seems to be doing better than the mother appearance wise, judge for yourself... And yes those are wires to try to shape her LOL. Eventually.
And yes I prune too much, but I am not in a rush just have to remember the 50% rule as well as the 24 hour waiting period so I stop stunting her.

If you can see there is the beginnings of an algae colony in the corner, this got worse and allowed a fungus gnat nest to form. She is not doing well ( if only I had covered her with tin foil to block light. Oh well her clone is alive and well and will hopefully finish what she started.
