new to rollitup and it rules..........this is my second grow and unlike my first one i have very little space(30"L*16"W*46"H) i keep going back and fourth with what kind of lighting.....also i will be mounting the lights vertically.....want to grow real dank shit and my budget is 1,000$$$$(took me long time to save)so please give me your opinion on lighting fellow closet growers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well with 1000 smackers i say a 400 or 600 watt in maybe a cooltube buy a nice ex fan so u dont have to worry about the heat to much..i dont know about heat in such a small space but with a good fan 200cfm+ i think u can get it under control..good luck and peace...

yea an HPS with a vented hood would work great...in that space a 400w maybe a bit much....maybe a 250 with some vertical t5's that would be the shit! all depends on how you are planning one using the space...but if you can veny easily a vented HPS would be good

you just blew my mind with that idea...awsome

for a grand you can make a decent perpetual hydro grow. and playing with that kind of money you shouldn't have to cut any corners.

I had a small grow room first time around, and I used 2 45 watt CFL bulbs. They surprisingly worked wonders for vegetative state, the largest benefit is not much heat is being produced and also you don't need as efficient of a ventilation system. As for flowering I'm not sure if the lack of light will affect your yield..most likely but if you got two plants you should still get a fair of amount of bud. These bulbs are very inexpensive, and do not use much elecctricity. Best of luck too you mate!

what do you guys think of the t5 light system i read they run pretty cool and im sure they are easy to mount vertically.....
