Im considering making a LC but cant figure out if I should start with a spore print,
or a tissue from a selected mushroom after I get a successful grow under my belt using a spore syringe

appreciate any info

I would make an LC right away so you have it to use in case your first grow does not make it. LC's colonize much faster so you wont have to wait so long for the second grow. Once you have a successful grow you can use some tissue from a shroom that has the characteristics you like and make a clone. Have you seen the LC tek in my signature?

yes I have very informative, I was hoping for your input

can I start with a spore print though?
I was under the impression that was a better way to start from
if so could you explain the process..?

I would order a multiple spore syringe from a vendor and start with that. It is much easier and less chance of contamination. If you don't have a spore print to start with you will need a fresh mushroom from which to get the print from. You may not have that until you have a successful grow anyway. If you do have a print I would work in a glove box or in front of a flow hood. Both of which i do not have which is why i do not mess with prints too often at all. But like i said start with a spore syringe from a vendor like sporeology or lil shop of spores. Those are two vendors i have used with success. Long story short; the syringes are the same thing you would make with your print. Let the vendors deal with making them. They are cheap too. Like $15.

Yes, this. ^^^^^^ Start with spores but eventually you want to use a piece of mushroom to start your colony. That is considered a clone and is suppose to give you a better fruiting mycelium. You better have some piece of air purifying equipment.

Ya if you get a successful crop a fresh cut fruit is best to spawn more jars and has less chance for contamination. Like maddog said you need a flow hood or a clean glove box but there are many more variables and chances for contamination.

Yeah I don't know about using a fresh shroom to spawn more jars. Do you mean a fresh fruit to make a spore print?

Although I have a HEPA system, I don't usually use it unless I am doing agar work. If you are careful, if you douse your mushroom with disinfectant and then carefully split the stem up to the point where it attaches to an UNOPEN cap, you can pull a tiny bit of the core of the mushroom out as your cloning material. You can put this directly into a grain jar or you can place it on agar or you can put t into your lc. The problem is that it will most likely grrow from there unless you hae a way to pulverize it when it is already in the liquid. One way is to put bits of metal, tiny screws or sharp nuts and bolts, even glass shards will help, and shake them up. I use a special blender for a moment or two, no longer as you will damage the hypae to the point where they will not recover. Then use maddog's tec and you wll be fine, and have a monoculture to play with which is far more productive and predictable.
