Liquor2's (noob) Journal

I am a noob on the board and though i'd start a grow journal. This is my first grow, so i have been searchin the boards for answers to question that I have. I have one pic of my little setup, I will post some pics of the grow room when i finish it in a couple weeks.

Now For the show
I started out with 10 Big Bud seeds, I chose them because they are one of the easiest to grow (well, thats what the description said). I placed them warm wet paper towels and the in to a tubberware container. Placed them in a dark spot on top of the heating pad on low. All 10 of my seeds sprouted when 48 hours . I planted the in rockwool and placed them in the homebuildt hydroponic system. The pic is of the kid's 2 days under flo's.

Now for so qustions?
How long should I leave them under flo's? I have 150w MH i'd like to put them under when there old enough.

I am using the Flora Series Nuts, Should I follow the basics on the side of the container or should I follow the expert series on the website for the product

Well let me know how i am doin and any advive is greatly appreciated

you might want to bring the lights down alot more..i see alot of strecthing

how close? they are 12" from the light now.

mine says 2-3 inches above the plant at all times so theres no strecthing,also do you have a fan blowing on them? if not u need one to make the stems stronger

I got a fan blowing in the corner of the room, it blows 24/7 is that alright? Also the lights are 18/6 hour schedule. But I have been reserching if you cut down the light to a 14/8 schedule while the kid are still young you have a better chance at more ladies the gentilmen, is this tru?

is the fan blowing on the plants? if not then point it on them thats so when you flower and buds come up your stems will be strong enough to hold them,and yes its ok to leav it on 24/7,im not sure if the 14/8 hour thing will give you more females ive never tried and never seen/heard some one do it

This is a dumb ? but how close should the fan be? right now it about 6' and it's on low. I was going to wait a week to move it closer

it really dosnt matter atleast you can feel it blowing on the plant,mines not to far frome the plant maybe 12 inches or less frome the plant

And I built my self a Carbon Scrubber. I will post pic of my veg room and my Flowering room in a couple of weeks. I bought the mcc-1 because the old lady does like messin with it. She just like eating the brownies that i make for her.
