simpsons the movie, kung fu hustle, shaolin soccer, old school... can go on for a while now all i need is weed :(

I did not check all the posts to see if anyone said it yet, but Grandma's Boy is one of my favorites for stoner flicks. Also, Mallrats and clerks of course. Dazed and Confused is another all time great.

Now, the one in college that everyone used to say is this........Wizard of Oz with no sound, played along with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. You press play on the album when the MGM lion roars at the beginning of the movie. It syncs up pretty well for an enjoyable watch. But this was something we would do while a little more out of it.

I've kind of grown to hate 'stoner movies'. Every one it's pretty much like 'Yo man, I smoke weed so now I'm all dumb and I'm a complete loser! That's what weed does!' And weed smokers just eat it up and play into the role, even though we're not really like that, and we stay getting arrested. A million people a year or however many it is, and sick and dying people can't get their medicine. Like think about it. How about a serious film about weed like a depiction of a good person who grows for him or herself and gets busted and brutalized in jail. A movie that highlights the person's humanity and innocence and how they're destroyed by the corrupt system. That's the kind of 'stoner movie' I'd like to see for a change.

Hey man just watch Weeds its basicly what you want... theres a preety good movie called Saving Grace (The movie not the gay show) that you might like

-Whatttt ur kidding me, Greenisthecolor has a verry good point. And who cares if its a drama movie u israelian towel head! A stoner movie doesn't have to be stupid or funny. Smoking pot has went from being used for mind opening salvation and tranquility, to now adays in america being used for watching funny/stupid "stoner movies". Stoner movies should make the public realize how much innocence and intelligence their is behind the eyes of a pot grower or smoker (in some cases). And not show how stupid morons act while high on pot during a bullshit comedy that is only making us look terrible to the public.......
