Interesting...... and many many thanks ..... I agree "where you do your thing, plays a big roll" But I didn't know that the more bud sights I have, lessens the potency.

Stupid question here if I may.... You have a stem coming up from a plant at the very top. At the very top, you have a new main shoot of new growth coming out all ready with two new shoots growing on both sides of the main shoot....so people remove this middle main shoot by whatever chosen method to allow the two little new ones that are on the sides to sprout and grow. My question is if the main shoot is just simply left alone to grow normally, won't the two little ones on the side grow as well into a bud anyway giving you three without removing the middle main shoot???? If so, why do people remove them? Thank you
Your 100% percent right. If you leave the main one to grow the two little ones below will still grow. But they'll barely get any light, because the main one will be growing to big to fast, and it will not let the two small nodes below it fully develop as it will be hogging all the light. The two small nodes will stay small and probably won't ever grow that many bud sites. When you TOP of FIM, it gets rid of the big part thats taking up all the light and allows the little ones below now to get all the light. Which makes them grow stronger and develop faster, down the road growing into two main colas, instead of just the one main one with 2 small nodes below it. Don't get me wrong leaving a plant to grow and do its thing is just as good as TOPing of FIMing, People do it because they want different results than growing normally(more yield, ect.)

Hope that answers you question.

And yes to your other question the more bud sites = less likely all of the bud sites are going to reach the true THC of CBD potential of what they're supposed to be.

Cannabis can only divert so much energy to its growing, whether that be in veg and growing leaves or in flower and growing buds. The less bud sites means the more energy it has to divert to the few bud sites that are growing, overall giving those bud sites more potential to grow stronger, more powerful and higher levels of THC/CBD.

Hope this also helps, good luck, happy growing!

OK, one last question and I promise to leave you alone...... and thank you very much ... What if you pluck off all the small popcorn buds of all the lower branches, would this be good for keeping your top bud sights stronger. I heard of people removing large fan leafs to gain more light in places, but what about these little buds?

When i lollipop i absolutely never take off any bud sites. only small leaves and branches at the bottom/middle area. Doing this diverts the energy thats going to those small branches up to the more important bud sites. I suppose if you chopped of the small bud sights down below it would divert the energy going to them to another bud site. But why would you ever want to cut off an area where bud could potentially grow..? You can try if you want, but I don't think I ever would. Just stick to the small leaves and branches at the bottom. and don't snip to much as this could potentially hurt the plant.

Thanks Mr. Sick Of Scrapin Rez, And I'm glad to hear about your youngen not being a Transvest..... I was getting a little worried there if it would of been. Not for you but for that plant..... you got a mean streak (lol) Peace Bro , have a good one....
