Little crystal on my soil?

I live in a tropical area and it rains a lot so I dont feed my plants (outdoor grow). I bought soil from the store and I noticed that there was little pieces of white crystal on top of the soil. Could it be salt or what else? please help i am worried . could it be the pH level?

maybe it's just tiny particles of perlite... OR maybe you grabbed soil that has slow release fertilizer mixed with it... my 2 cents worth

Probably salt build up if its not mold.

Hey I talked to buddy of mine, he said he's purchased soil before(in canada tho as where he lives)and it had polymer crystals(absorb moisture/moisture cyrstals) mixed in with it already... so this mite also be possibility fellow grower

Maybe your weed is so potent it is growing trichomes in the soil.... I will try some!
