Little help...

howdy
Seedlings are in their 3rd week. I've got them in black gold seedling mix.
Any thoughts as to what this browning/yellowing is caused from? My grow room exceeded 96 a few days which may have stressed them out a bit. I guess the browning is more of what I'm worried about. Any insight would be appreciated.

which is fine....but still not sure what's up with the yellow/dead leaves

maybe it was the heat....what are your typical day/night temps?
it looks like they are quite tall and stretched as well...i would ask what soil..im tempted to think there is something in the soil itself

Temps during the day are around 80-85 lately. Night around 75-80. As I said earlier my room was reading between 97-99 for about a 3 day period. Soley because I live on the 3rd floor and it was humid as hell outside.

Sorry I should have clarified hot soil means soil too rich with nutrients, especially nitrogen.

im using a 250w hps (dimmable to 400w) Lights are about 6-7 inches away from tops of plants. Hand feels comfortably warm. Thanks for your feedback!
