Oh yea, one of my old girlfriends used to get those punch cards that when you get 8 movie punches, you get a free bucket of popcorn and two large drinks. Her and her dad would take a razor blade and cut holes in the exact shape of whatever the movie company's hole-punches looked like. I would always get mad at her for doing that.

Another thing that you could do when you're going to a movie with more than 2 people is... first 2 people (person #1 and #2) go into theatre, have person #1 take both stubs and leave theater and go to bathroom or something, then, while outside the theatre, give the 3rd person your friend's stub so they can get into the movie for free. Then once they're into the theatre, give both stubs to person #2 and have them go out and give the extra stub to someone else. Rinse & repeat as long as they don't notice.
... works with sports games too, unless it's sold out numbered seating.

If there isn't enough postage, I believe they are required to send it back to the return address (if applicable). Ta Da! Not sure if it works across the country anymore though. It works if you're just mailing in-town or across town.
