How about not posting that you'll be growing illegally in a state that has no form of legalized cannabis. You never know who's online and where. Also, with the current change of seasons, you'll be growing indoors. Go for an indica dominant strain if you want low profile plants since they stay shorter and bushier. Otherwise, just start with bagseed. You bought it and smoked it, had to be decent.

Be careful, your growing in the bible belt and they are not very friendly to our kind.
The police down south are completely brain washed. I have a lot of family whom are police down south and I can spend hours arguing about issues with them and not get anywhere. Apparently "99% of all marijuana comes from Mexico and not only fuels violence in Mexico but also contributes most they'r money to terrorism." That is "common knowledge" around those parts.

i agree with fuzzbutter if you are growing indoors. they can trace your IP.

but if your outdoors (not in your backyard) then i wouldn't worry.

i am going to grow outdoors. as of right now i plan on growing some low ryder/ dwarf plants because they finish so quickly. if i already had a stash that would last me until a next october i would grow something a little more potent with higher yields.
so the dwarf is pick #1

my other pick is a big bud x with something else, idk yet. this will give me enough yield hopefully to last untill my next harvest.

but who knows i might change my mind 14 times by the time april rolls around

Would your username reflect a college around those parts? In that case you are right next to me!

I agree that SCAD offers some relief from bible thumpers, but it's still the south. I grew up in the south and have never come across a cop that was lenient about weed. I've known people to be arrested for less than a gram.

well legally now you can't get arrested long as you have under an OZ. IDK bout you, but I'm don't go running around with a full OZ in my pocket...Maybe it's just because I'm a chick, but the cops haven't really fucked with me even though I enjoy making their life hell.

That's good, this was some years ago when my friend got popped for that roach. In any regard, I love the south, weed tolerant or not.

Where do u get your information? Does that relate to only Savannah? Because around here people get arrested everyday for as much as a joint.
Maybe I should move. I

GEORGIA LAW ON CANNABIS:
Possession of less than one ounce of marijuana is a misdemeanor and can be punished by up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000. However, upon a first drug conviction the offender may be placed on probation, and upon successful completion the proceedings against him may be discharged. Possession of one ounce or more is a felony and is punishable by 1 - 10 years in prison.

Any cultivation, manufacture or distribution is a felony, punishable by 1 - 10 years in prison.

Any possession, manufacture or distribution of greater than 50 pounds is considered trafficking and all trafficking offenses carry mandatory minimum sentences. For amounts greater than 50 pound but less that 2,000 pounds, the sentence is a minimum of 5 years in prison and a $100,000 fine. For 2,000 pounds to less than 10,000 pounds, the minimum sentence is 7 years in prison and a fine of $250,000. For 10,000 pounds or more, the minimum sentence is 15 years and a $1,000,000 fine.

The use of any communication facility, such as a telephone or radio, during any drug felony may add 1 - 4 years to the sentence and a fine of $30,000.

Distribution or possession within 1,000 feet of any school, park, playground, recreational center or drug free commercial zone is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $20,000, for the first conviction. A second conviction is punishable by 5 - 40 years in prison and a fine of up to $40,000.

Upon a first conviction of a drug offense, the offender's driver's license is suspended for at least six months and will be reinstated only upon completion of a drug use program. For a second conviction the suspension will be at least one year and for a third conviction the suspension will be at least two years.

Professional licenses can also be suspended upon a drug conviction.

or FEDERAL LAW (Which makes any state or county laws go bye bye):
Possession of marijuana is punishable by up to one year in jail and a minimum fine of $1,000 for a first conviction. For a second conviction, the penalties increase to a 15-day mandatory minimum sentence with a maximum of two years in prison and a fine of up to $2,500. Subsequent convictions carry a 90-day mandatory minimum sentence and a maximum of up to three years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.

Distribution of a small amount of marijuana, for no remuneration, is treated as possession. Manufacture or distribution of less than 50 kilograms of marijuana is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. For 50 kilograms or more the penalty increases to a possible 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1,000,000. Manufacture or distribution of 100 kilograms or more carries a penalty of 5 - 40 years in prison and a fine of up to $2,000,000. For 1000 kilograms or more, the penalty increases to 10 years - life in prison and a fine of up to $4,000,000.

Distribution of greater than 5 grams of marijuana to a minor under the age of 21 doubles the possible penalties. Distribution within 1,000 feet of a school, playground, public housing or within 100 feet of a youth center, public pool or video arcade also doubles the possible penalties.

The sale of paraphernalia is punishable by up to three years in prison.

The sentence of death can be carried out on a defendant who has been found guilty of manufacturing, importing or distributing a controlled substance if the act was committed as part of a continuing criminal enterprise – but only if the defendant is (1) the principal administrator, organizer, or leader of the enterprise or is one of several such principal administrators, organizers, or leaders, and (2) the quantity of the controlled substance is 60,000 kilograms or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of marijuana, or 60,000 or more marijuana plants, or the if the enterprise received more than $20 million in gross receipts during any 12-month period of its existence.

EVEN if you had less then an OZ and first offence you can get really screwed.
You used a cell phone to get that bud? Do you have your tax stamp?
By no means do I "like" law enforcement, but I do respect them, and would never "fuck around with them" or "make their life a hell" because most of them, could make my life a fkin hell. Rather just be respectful and stay out of their sight.

I just noticed the federal law states they can give out the death penalty for cultivating? I guess just as a criminal enterprise but still... I really do have to get the f out of this country.

you forgot to mention from the same site:

Less than 1 oz (first offense), no jail, no fine, plausible probation. That's all they can do.

In MA though, it's just a flat out fine of $100 each time, no build up (unless you're a felon) and no jail time. Most cops from where I was didn't even ticket you because it wasn't worth it. Kind of like how they don't ticket you speeding unless you're going more than 20 over or they're a dick.

Oh ok, I thought we were talking about GA.

You probably will not get jail but we were talking about getting arrested, not being incarcerated.
