Lobster Claw

Just wanted to ask if it's ok when the leaves look like lobster claws. The plant is huge and beautifully green. It's growing better than all the others accept it's also the only one that's it's big fat leaves come out looking like a bunch of Lobster claws. Dark green, waxy leaves as healthy as I could emagine but with the lobster claw appearance. Is this cool or is it telling me something?

weed.jpgHmmm..30 views and no replies. Must not be anything to worry about or no one knows what I'm talking about. Picture has an orange tint due to the big HPS light not interacting with the digital camera very well but it's nice and green in reality. Probably nothing wrong with it at all but as you can see the plant in the middle of the picture has leaves that aren't as faned out as the other plant's leaves. As long as the plant is healthy, green and growing I guess I'm not worried.

your plants look very healthy and growing perfect... the leaves are a way of telling the strain. the size, edges of leaves, the way they make that "lobster claw" just may be the way the strain grows. thats nothing to worry about

if you mean how the middle leaves seem to overlap. its normal probably just a genetic trait possibly by being crossed with something. but no i dont see a problem.

Ok, thanks for the input. The strain is White Widow. I've grown it before and don't remember the claw look and the other W.W. I've got growing isn't doing it. But as you said, they do look healthy so who cares. Just three more weeks and I'll go 12-12. Then the fun begins.

those don't look bad at all...clawing when the leaves strain downward is a sign of too much N or too much water. yours seem good though.

random 007.jpgrandom 00212.jpgmonsterbuds.jpgThat's sick man. Piss? I think I'll exclude that from my list of "things to try". I'll be using Sucanate to fat'n up my buds. That's a little trade secret that not many probably know. Just some natural sucanate (sugar) durring budding and they fat'n up nicely. Get it at a natural foods store. Check out my last year's crop. Not bad eah? And I'll agree with PlantManBee about the N. I fertilized them pretty good last week due to some pale color in a couple plants. Cured the pale color issue big time but might have a little more N than needed. Thanks.
