i got to say Bob i was on your side the whole way thru this until this last post. but then again i may be a paranoid, delusional, anti society type so my opinion prolly doesn't count for much in your eyes, but personally I feel you may be "living in a bubble of hopes and expectations" (for lack of a better way to say it). Times are changing fast, so fast i feel a large portion of our society is still living in the past in terms of the nobility of our government. i fear we are causing ourselves to look past the obvious because we are so afraid of what we will see all around us.
i have friends who are cops too, and i have smoked with them and even other cops who were their friends. but that doesn't mean the number one thing they laugh about (especially when they are high) isn't the ways they fuck ppl over (for good or bad) either by using the law or by circumventing with there powers as a leo, it doesn't mean that nearly every single cop, who doesn't know you, will take pleasure from how they effected your day later, maybe even get a good laugh with their friends.
