Lock out or over nuted?

Hi all. Ive only recently registered here, but since setting up my first grow at a pals house this forum has given me all the information i could need.

More to the point, in the last week or so we've hit our first major problem, about a week and half ago the plant developed what i diagnosed to be nute burn as tips and edges were browning, which was throughout the whole plant. I tested the run off which was around 4 (EC), and 1.8 was going through the top. I flushed 10ltr pots with 27/28ltrs ph adjusted water till EC was the same as tap water (0.1EC).
After the flush the burning of leaves slowed down for afew days. But now leaves are yellowing throughout the whole plant slowly, with burn appearing at newer leaf tips. Also for the first time really small, brown/rusty spots are showing on the edges of leaves at the top of the colas.
Since the flush Ive fed a nute mix of 1.5 ec, with the latest feed run off at 1.9?!
I lowered strength of feed and re watered to lower the run off.
They are in a routine of water/feed/water, which hasnt caused and problems previously to this.
Tomorrow they will be watered so i can recheck the ph/ec run off to see whats going on.

So ive already flushed, slightly backed down on nutes.. but problems still surfacing? :wall: This is our first time so im hoping *praying* somebody has experienced this and has some sort of solution as i am well an truely pickled! and would hate to lose my first crop of uk cheese as she smells unbelievable :weed:

Extra info which may help..
6 weeks into flower intending to go to 10 (bit early for leaf yellowing? :/ )
in soil fed the canna terra flower nutes with pk13/14 and molasses
no idea of humidity or temps(need to get meter this week i think)
Ph going in = 6.3 .. comin out = 6.6/7 (was 6.8last week).
Any info ive missed please dont hesitate to ask.
And please if any body has any advice or any help at all please fire ahead as you guys have taught me everything i know!

Thank you in advance and sorry for the long read!
[[No pics atm! -.- will try to get some off my buddies blackberry and upload them asap]]

six weeks in you dont have too much longer to go at least, my guess is you burned them then they were hungry after the flush, and are trying to get over all the stress, ive been trying to find the right levels of nutes to give my plants tis grow and it is tricky to get it just right i still havent got it, was underfeeding too much at the start, then overfed just a little and they seem to be just scraping buy now, think ive got my schedule somewhat worked out,
i cant really suggest doing anything you havent already cept maybe give them a light foliar of somthing nice every other day if they are looking hungry??

you answered it. good job. go get a temp and humidity gauge. stop watering so much tell you do. yellowing could be from root rot or just the plant doing its thing.

First of all thank you for your quick reply mate! ive been pulling my hair out over it last few days. So you think the lack of food after the flush (took 4days for top of soil to dry and have first feed of 1.5 ec), could be the reason for the burn tips/yellowing of leaves? Just strange how it stopped, then started again along with the tiny rust looking/brown spots on small leaves at top of cola. I was hoping/expecting the flush to solve this.. an with no plan B.. well i really have no idea what to try next.
What foilar feed would you suggest mate? Im planning a visit to the hydro store to replace my ec/ph meters to ensure im getting correct readings.
Also ive avoided foilar feeding since hearing about the magnifying (spelling) effect. How would you suggest applying this(day/night..ml per plant)?
Again thank you for your input fella, greatly appreciated.

I have no idea if this has anything to do with it.. but if i can monitor the environment then atleast i can tick afew things off the list.. should have gotten one along time ago really but this is really the first problem weve it. Will lay off the watering thanks m8, but have only been watering when top 2inches of soil is dry (finger test) so i dont THINK its too much watering.. but im new to this so what do i know lol. advice taken onboard! also root rot?! really doesnt sound good.. any other symptoms of this i can look for? And any possible cures? thats added a whole new problem into the pot of thoughts haha..!

By the way.. the bud development is still beautiful besides abit of a stunt in the passe week. absolutely stinks of PROPER cheese, crystals covering everything but the leaves tell a different story :/

np glad to help anyway i can, usually while flushing its best to hit them with half strength nutes too keep them going till next watering, as you have leached all the minerals.salts from the soil, so long as your buds are still looking nice and growing an the burning hasnt got any worse id guess you were through the worst part, so fair play for getting it under control! id still keep an eye on them if i were you, i recently started giveing my plant 1.5 EC aswel they loved it till the 3rd feed and i had to back off so im planning to do feed feed water at maybe 1.4 for feeding but every plant/nutrient are different so dont go buy my schedule, you are figuring yours out now!
for foiliar i have been using Ionics Formulex at half strenght only when they were having issuses, best time to apply is in the morning at lights on raise your lights slightly if you are really worried but i never burn mine from doing this, dont soak the plants either just give them a light misting its more than enuff i find, rember u can also burn your plant up pretty bad from over foliar too!! and for ml per litre go by the bottle and maybe half what it says to be safe and see how your plants like it, i have been looking into a seaweed foliar as people have suggested it to me,
hope your ladies do ok sounds like they are through the worst anyway, try to keep a level head man i know its hard lol! do some reading about your nutes and read up what other people are doing with them, sounds like your on top of things anyway!

Thanks for you reply once again fella. Thought this topic was deserted only just noticed your responce!
I went with your advice and used the house and garden magic green foilar to green up the yellowing leaves.. I used the foilar in a jug and dabbed it with a sponge to make the effected leaves slightly moist.. i didnt want to take chances spraying my beautiful buds with foilar! Dont know if anyone else has tried this method but it worked wonders for me!
Also i think i figured out my problem. The Ph meter was WAY off.. resulting in the flush obviously being out of desired range. Ive since stayed on top of this and everything is ok for the moment!
Thank you for your advice m8 greatly appreciated, youve help save my precious cheese and im very grateful!
