Lol my ph was 8.6 from tap WTF

Just got my hands on a ph meter and ph up and down and tested my tap water that I used on my plants and it was at 8.6. I grow in soil and that's way to high. Explains why I was having issues

My water PH same as urs. If ur growing organically PH isn’t a priority.

Did u calibrate the pen before use? The reading may be off if you didn't do so before using the pen.

on both ph meters I’ve owned

my tap water is around 9.0 , a good pH meter is most important
