Lol. I just watched this yt video of a dude going on about how all you need are a shit ton of cfls and he showed off his " awesome plants" then the idiot zoomed out too far and you can see an H.I.D. hood and glowing metal halide. Lol

Probably do fine in a 2x2ish space. It’s a light it’s cheap. Even if you find it’s not great for flower it’s something to root clones or grow herbs under.

Kingbrite are good cheap lights. I bought one as I was sceptical about LED and didn’t want too spend much.

I found a seller locally and got a good price. It has a meanwell driver and LM301h LEDs. If they are genuine I don’t know but it has converted me to LED.

I was looking at a similar light to the one posted for a mother plant.

3 years ago they would have called that a "300 w" light (i.e., for a 2'x2' growspace). Now it's 1000 w? There's some misleading marketing right there. Not saying you can't grow under it.

When I bought my cheap LEDs 3 or 4 years ago, I bought 4 for around $50 each (each of slightly different configurations), and only 2 lights work good in veg by themselves, and only one works great in either veg or bloom. So, each better light cost $100. I've been wondering about trying a light similar to the OP's, but I'd rather just get an exact replacement for the one that I have that works great. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be sold any longer. So, I have to gamble on an unknown again? Maybe I'll just make do with what I already have.

Still better I think than my first grow light I used in college. I'd started in the windowsill and my drunk roommate came dragging in a halogen landscape light. Lol. My power bill doubled and my pot sucked. Any led is better than that bullshit. My current setup ain't nothing much but at least I can grow decent pot. I think one more quantum board and I'll be good.....just one more little light. Noone will ever know....

3 of my lights look similar (not with same branding), one grows well, one quite well, one grows poorly.
BRIGHT as hell and makes your tent hot as hell too!!! Even with the built in fans!!! It's still a good light if you're using it to add on,definitely a cold fighter...

Because of my wife's complaining I have to buy on the cheap rather than go ahead and get what I want. Probably end up spending more with buying several underpowered ones but I'd rather have cheap light weed than no weed. I've found there's a little compromise on Amazon if you check the components and read the recent reviews. They upgrade/downgrade these lights continuously.

It doesn't add anywhere near as much heat as an HID bulb! But definitely gotta circulate air at the ceiling back down to the floor! I use a 4" computer fan regulated down to run on about 5V which runs all the time, for exhaust, probably getting a complete air change every 3 to 4 minutes, and cheap LEDs still don't warm the 4 x 2 tent much.

HLG,Mars Hydro,SPIDER FARMER,Viparspectra, they all make good lights that are affordable... You have to decide what to get depending on the size of your space, as I'm sure you know... Hlg ain't giving nothing away free though, but they are the quickest to respond to any problems you have...

I was referring to my 2x2x3... Before I got my first qb288 135w V2 kit I was just using the Roleadro and it kept my tent at an easy 85-90 degrees...

You have to go with a name when it comes to all these new lights coming out, like one of the ones that I mentioned
