Look at this giant bud

It's good that you got it out of the way early. Now you know what a male looks like. Would have been worse if you grew it out with a female in there. I'd rather be where you are at then picking out 1k seeds.

And how true is this? I would think if this were true if you cloned a plant, and say feeded the clone only bloom nutes, but gave the mother only veg nutes...let them sit for a couple of months in veg, when you flower one would be female and one would be male? That just sounds crazy.

Countryboy, I feel bad for your troubles, but you are on the road to better growing through knowledge. My first grows in the 80's were horrible! As they years passed and more info came my way it got better with every harvest.
 
I've left 20 plants in a field one time. I took the time to do some buckets and everything. Lugged the soil out there, but never sexed the plants. Oh what a bountiful seed crop.

And in my area, in 1987, I actually thought that stringy, seedy premature herb was good. If nothing else it was free. If I had only known how easy it was then...

only works with seeds babe. higher n ferts will produce more females, more phos will promote males. true story ;)
 
Countryboy not to be mean or anything, but does it help if we use larger text like this? I wouldn't want you to strain yourself trying to read all the fine print.:peace:
