I live in Canada and in Canada it’s legal to grow 4 personal plants per house hold. and if you have a license you can grow more. Well my step son grows for 2 farmers in my area. He’s been trying to get me to let him grow a sea of green in the basement. He says he has full tray of clones that are rooted. I keep telling him I’m not sure if I wanna do it. Well anyways today when I get home I find 2 4x8 tables a reservoir 2 1000w lights air pump water pump pretty much everything we need to do it. He says it will only take about 7 weeks. 4 days of veg and the bud time. Does this sound do able? How many pants can you fit on 1 4x8 table with over crowding? Please please please I need to what I’m getting my self into

A nice ass grow.
Most of us grow illigaly.
There alot of learbing so i hope hes doing it.
It never tskes 7 weeks. Ripen time.
So i do 2 week stretch count 7 weeks snd look for ripeness over a week if they say 7 they mean 10.


U seem to know alot for just gettin sting with it?

If ur doin it dodgey and scared the reaction dont be we dont csre lol we wil help..

Dude on thct grew and in his country hed be shot for having a gram persi. Never stopped him growing lbs.

I have 2 tents up stairs in my 1 bedroom the one tent has 1 northern lights that has been on 12/12 for 2 weeks it’s my 1st time growing dwc and in the 2nd tent there is 5 lady’s in soil that are gonna be mothers

Seriously. I don't condone or encourage any illegal activities. Stop posting and discussing beyond the partner. 1 sq ft would put you over if clone is considered a plant not a piece of one. And easily 144 with room for support and flow substrate. 7 weeks is just getting frost. More like 9-10 for ay sign of potential.All theoretical. Ad addition considerations omitted.

Timings are off... 2 weeks veg and 10 weeks flower. But yeah crack on... and don't tell anyone!

from having just finished a sog experiment for the last year (not quite as small as yours, but packed 24 into a 4x5) i will say just make sure you are ready for the work involved. will take lots of time to water and manage all those plants. lots of defoliation to deal with. and not to mention if you manage to get any bugs they have more places to hide and will multiply faster. without a doubt you will yield more but its also relative. lots more work involved. so if your goals are max yield in X time frame, sog is definitely the way. it yielded way more than I even could use tbh. was fun but just wound up blessing friends w some nice holiday jars. for now im switching back to less plants topped a few times to make my life easier.

Grow less and bigger plants to stay in limits, just takes a longer veg. Or you could hit those two 4 x 8's with 64 single cola plants and get to the same place faster. Many ways to grow the plant, but always make sure it's fun. Doesn't sound like you're having fun.

really depends what your goals are. are you trying to stock up? its definitely a good way to get a huge harvest. is your son just trying to make a couple bucks real quick? tbh its not as easy as it sounds and there is risk involved besides legal. like it could get away from you and you wind up with a bug infestation and yield nothing for 2 mos of work.

as for legality, this is a personal hot button issue. I think plant counts are fucking an insult to our intelligence and the cause of some very unfair sentencing over the years due to its arbitrary nature, which in my eyes is unjust. people are still in jail over 1 plant = 1 lb and we should all refuse to acknowledge these laws until these wrongs are righted. so fuck plant counts. if u want to limit by canopy size or wattage fine, but plant counts are fucking dumb. and to be honest no one can tell me how much medicine to grow for my kid when its the difference between him having a normal life or living in misery. end rant.

Like the other guy was saying on the other thread.... you want to veg those plants for at least 2 weeks to get them bigger. Then when you flip the light to 12/12 i would expect most strains to run 10 weeks before the are ready. Most seed companies quote 7 to 9 weeks... generally 10 weeks is more accurate for your expectations.... generally.

If your breaking your local laws in any way.... keep the whole thing a secret

i should add too, from my experience it took a few cycles to get a strain dialed in to actually get the max yield from a sog. so a one shot experiment may or may not give u desired results.

for clarification I am not telling anyone to break their local laws and dont want anyone to get themselves in trouble.

at the same time, if everyone always obeyed the rules, there would be no RIU and no ganja to smoke :eyesmoke:
