Razor blades and broken glass on the stocks of your ladies! Or u can dig a trench around your plants and fill it with aligators!

A dog, a tent (even if you don't actually sleep in it), and most of all some sheets of plywood with nails surrounding your plant covered up with leaves. It's the cheapest alarm ever, when you hear the scream check ur shit.

Definitely illegal and the number required would make it hard to argue it was negligence and not a bobby trap sadly.

On a legal note pepper spray grenades or tear gas would work a treat and because it does injure should be legal.
Using pepper spray(unless for self-defense)on someone is an agg battery charge in this state, a lot tougher to explain than a board with screws imho.

All four of my dogs bark at the footsteps of a mouse outside. These four dogs are all strategically placed around the property based on their purpose as an alarm/security system.

They make bad ass, and pseudo bad ass cameras that will instantly email you with a series of photos if motion is detected. Accompany this with a top of the line smart phone and you have the best camera security system possible.

Hunting/game cameras can be of great help too.

The next addition to my security system will be a moat complete with fire breathing mother fucking dragons.

And there is always...

The sawed off...

Pistol grip pump on my lap at all times.

My understanding is that in the U.S., which is where you apparently live, there is something called the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution, and there are laws that allow one to protect your property... "Your honour, they were attempting to do a home invasion and I was fearful for my family".

ps. I despise rippers.

Your grow spot is permanently compromised, it was obviously not very good to begin with. Now it's totally fucked, they WILL be back next year. Take all the booby traps as a bad idea. It would be cheaper to buy weed than fight a personal injury lawsuit, which you will lose. Move to a better spot, plant elsewhere, go inside, or give it up for now.

I've got four hot naked girls chilling around my plants at all times. Nobody EVER messes with my garden. Hell, I don't even mess with my plants, I always distracted on the way in..

I have bee hives in my garden. I have a 50' x 50' garden with 6' chain link fence on all four sides, then it is surrounded with a 2nd fence leaving a 5' wide dog run completely around it. A dog can be shot or thrown a bone but my honey bees will not be easy to deal with, I have hives scattered through out my garden. If a thief in a hurry bumps or knocks one down, they are in for a very unpleasant time. Then my shot guns are all loaded with a mixture of rock salt and white rice, the rock salt delivers instant retribution and the rice swells over time and will make you think your going to die, it requires a doctor to remove. I have a "voice 6" system that has 6 wireless remote ultra-sonic units hung in and around my garden that gives verbal warnings in the house if an intruder gets too close.

So... if you wear a bee suit and shoot my bull dog, I'll be so pissed I wont even call 911 for you after I shoot you with the rock salt/rice, you will have to crawl to your car and drive yourself to the emergency room ;-P

I am in Michigan and my garden is 100% legal, I have been visited by the local Drug Enforcement team and given a thumbs up. I love it!
