Lookin for some coaching on a Start to finish 1st grow !!!

Heyyo Rookie lookin to pop my cherry got a bag-o-seeds I've collected out of my killer over the past while!
Planning an indoor dirt grow and would love some input on getting started.

Lookin for input on the best and easiest dirt/nutrient combo and planting setup

I was planning on using 5-gallon buckets because I'm using an office closet but im open to suggestions

Im using a 8x54 t5 light

Bag seeds. Step one I suggest you save yourself some heartache and pay for a fresh seed from a very trusted cultivator for strongest results. And actual true strain information ..... Because I can almost bet you didn't store those seeds properly over the years

3 gal bucket with soil . Go talk to your local hydro store for soil.

I have and use 10+ year old bubba kush beans I got from a sack, stored in a pill bottle. Still germing 9/10. People have traded me for some of those.

Make soil with equal parts moss, perlite, castings and 1-3 cups of dry ferts/amendment's per cu ft/7.5ga.

Glad your seeds worked out for you. It's not the case everytime

This is a 7 part series on youtube and is well worth your time.


The guy is a bit of a putz if you follow him, but this series is good. Don't worry about the flushing stage, you won't need that as long as you throttle back the nutes.

But this system is a very good starting point. It works for general soil with synthetics. Once you do it once, change things up to suit your environment.
