Looking for good seedbank to order from

started when I was 14
graduated high school in 1974
only smoke real tai once back then
anyway I think there is a good point to getting more stoned/enjoyed it more when you are young
I know that I have built up a tolerance over the past 30+years and so even the "better" pot that I grow now isn't the same as back then.

Ahhh Alto you take me back to the day....from your grad date your about 6 years older than me, but man do i remember the weed back then....the columbian was good and solid but cheap! Yeah, it had some seeds in it, (thats what the double album cover was for lol ) but the high was great, and we use to be able to get it at about 100-120 a quarter pound....ahhh the days...Remember the thai stick?? Man it brings me back. I'm in the middle of a grow now, but i needed some weed last night, can you believe 475 an oz for northern lights??!!!! Anyway i'd love to be able to find some old vintage pure strains, but sadly i think theyve all been crossed and are no longer available. Anyway...take care

im way younger than you guys but when i was 16(note i was born in 1985) my loving father who was well connected and had many friends in the mexican mafia hooked me up with some of that columbia gold bud and that shit was the shit i can still remember like it was yesterday!lol

The high for me was out of this world considering when i was young i usually only had some swag bag but when my dad showed back up in my life not only did are relationship get better but the weed got WAY better!

I envy you old guys that grew up in the 60's! but really ive been reading some info about how now the weeds is just as strong as it was if not stronger?

Yup- i think the weeds stronger today, but its different....life was different...1985, i was out of college and working open steel in NYC...certain strains today (nl, white rhino, ect...) are very powerful refined bud, but the stuff back then was more wild i guess...it mostly was imported from south america and mexico...not sensi, it had seeds, but it was cheap, plentiful and got ya high as shit...i think its more of the memories that make it good, it may not as been as powerful as today but we smoked a shit load more Now there was exceptions..thai weed was great, we use to get some shit from loas i think that was the shit and the hawaian was just hitting the east coast and it was so so good. Gotta remember the east coast was behind the west coast in quality back then...man just thinking about this stuff puts a smile on my face...ohh well i'll enjoy a nice bowl of NL tonight that i picked up for the low low price of 475 an oz...shit that hurts, but my grow will be done soon and i can take a break from spending way too much for quality stuff....

Man you guys sound just like my dad, everytime we burn or he pokes his head in my grow room he starts talking about those strains. He says he could take one strain, pass it around the room and have everyone laughing and talking then pass around another strain he knew would shut em up. Crazy how much more expensive it is these days.


Update on the seeds......still waiting by the mailbox

In 1968, I remember $10@ oz. for a bag of weed. Thai stick with opium drizzled on it $25@ stick (about a gram). Black primo afgani hash $160@ oz. Boy I sure am getting old. Think Ill got take some meds.

i wish i could have experienced that generation. instead im railing ridalin listening to Andre Nickatina and growing crazy cross strains.

I think the average wait is around 10-15 days from final confirmation, I got my final email from nirvana on the 14th so Im not going to start getting worried till after the 29th. I'm crossing my fingers that they'll be here next week but who knows, theres a new thread with a guy saying its been longer than that for him, he;s thinking he got scammed, prob just doesnt have the patience. Im an optimist!

The Attitude Seedbank in merry old England. They have their *hit together. Stealth packaging, even your mother could love. Google search em they have a good website. Good security measures in place. I know several people who have ordered from them and no reports of problems.

i just saw on my gift card statement it said vendor: www.thisipod.com when on the site it said it would be marked as safepay. hence my feelings of sketchyness. ive sold seeds to a bunch of people awhile back for a bucka piece , so i better be gettin what i paid for .

Just have faith fellas, a ton of people here have ordered seeds from nirvana in the past and received them. The only complaints Ive heard is that somtimes they come late, and sometimes the genetics aren't as good as hoped for. The good far outweighs the bad it appears or else so many of us wouldnt order from there. Do a search here and you'll see what I mean
