Looking for heat reduction

What percentage of heat reduction can I expect between the KS3000 and my current Sun Systems 315W LEC/CMH light in my 3x3 tent?

You're looking at about the same heat as the 315 puts out, Mich more photons though thrown at the plants so you can get away with dimming it slightly imo

i havent used any of these lights but i wouldnt expect drastic changes you’ll not get ir that helps, you can run it dimmed to hit the same ppfd so that will also save some watts and heat. itll definitely be lower heat though i have no idea by how many degrees.

The only difference will be how the heat is distributed. The plant's leaves will be warmer under the CMH vs LED because of the radiant heat the IR from the lamp puts out.
