Looking for information on "Jack the ripper"

using alcohol is more or less the same thing as your dissolving the thc from the plant material to make a concentrated extract. the difference is that butane evaporates much faster than even 100% alcohol of any source. i prefer using butane because its simpler and quicker either method you decide to use do it outdoors having no eyebrows or worse is no fun.

Sorry diesel ryder but your JTR does not look like any other grows of JTR I have seen. Also the only person I have ever heard describe JTR's high as "OK". That shit is caked up with crystals and mind blowing ripped high.

very true. I have been a butane guy forever. Its easy, fast and cheap. Im gunna give Iso a try with a jarful and see how it works. Butane can be made into rocks you have to heat it a bit tho. I dunno it always freaked me out heating a goo with butane in it even if it was just trace amounts. Ill post pics in 4-5 weeks when I harvest and we can see what everyone thinks.

Oh did I mention that these guys are in a 4x4 tent with a 400 and a 600 on em.... :hump:

Its pretty much 3-4 large Jack's and some smaller indicas, and a minature green krack!

These poor guys have so much light on them! The 400 is running a MH right now but in the next day or two i'm going to put in the HPS so it will be 1000 hps watts but REALLY close to the tops..

Unless this stuff just "looks" good, I think its going to be the real deal. Not bad for a bunch of sickly clones from the local med shop. Honestly these look really good

Im really having a hard time finding a good dispensory that stocks really good strain clones. Anyone have suggestions for the so cal area? Hopefully no farther north than say north LA, lol. I just want a few mothers for strains that work well for me, but haveing trouble finding really good stuff. Guess i gotta order seeds

Hey bro, coming from you I take absolutley no offense from that newbie comment. What JTR grows have you ever seen? In real life? Not a fuckin picture. Like I told the man it is decent (not ok) and take it w/ a grain of salt. The only pics I've seen you post look like shit w/ no trichs, crystals, labia's or whatever other buz words you like to use. Just shut your trap and keep on w/ your sweet aero- bullshit while I grow forests of killer bud all around you. By the way, leave posts like this to guys w/ experience, know how, and the balls big enough to grow baseball bat size colas, not popcorn I throw away.

Iso so far... Just getting into the alcohol extractions. I'm going to do a bit when the jack is ready... The great thing with iso is there is not cure time. You harvest and straight into mason jars for a iso bath. Im most likely going to keep the material and do a butane extraction after. The guy that I learned from his posts, he always does a iso wash then a butane wash with just a little more product in the iso wash. The iso extract is just sick looking..

Bike and Brick, I agree with both of you. As for the JTR, I have been growing it for several crops, its great stuff. It should make great hash, sorry, I just shake my sugar leaf when I have time, but I get a crap load of crystals. The buds are taste great, some of the best tasting stuff out there. Last three weeks, Its just covers itself in crystals. I grow white widow, and blueberry. The JTR taste the best and I find the highs between all three real similar.

Your dispensary sells clones? That would be way cool if they did that up here in Oregon. The JTR clones fairly easy, I had them go with no H2O for a week, completely dry up on my and with some good care, they came right back. I have a real close friend that just ordered some real cool seeds from this seed bank that lets you order individual seeds. Thats a route you may wanna take if you cant find good clones. You could always make a trip up here to Oregon.

yea, we even have home delivery of clones from craigslist, all legit, lol.

Its not finding clones thats the problem, its finding GOOD clones!

I did find someone that has 5 kushes with 12 inch mothers for 50 bucks.

Man, it was just a year ago that the avg. price for clones was 10 bucks.. Not its 20-25 bucks each. Good thing I just make mothers out of them...

i would shop around i pay from 10 to 20 at most for clones bonsai moms are normally 30 and big moms 60 to 90 there are so many dispensaries its great. it makes amsterdam pale in comparison. plus the weather rocks.

I have a few indica (Master Kush X Hogs breath, and a dying gdp clone wtf?) going but they are about 4 weeks behind my JTR. The indica I will smoke and the JTR will be made into hash, well 75% of it. I really like sativa hashes, even tho I generally stick to kushes and grape strains for smoking(indicas). Seems like the sativa hash gives you the best of both worlds. Aged hash is the shiz....

Here is the hash from JTR. This shit is stiiiicky. It has a great taste.

The bud did get a bit better after a month long curing.

Everyone that smokes it agree's that it is "decent" smoke. Nothin to write home about. Hope you have good luck. Pls. let us know what you think.

my jtr is like 2 or 3 weeks from harvest. i screwed up its light cycle pretty badly by not covering it some days lots of light stress purposely. so its making pollen so i will end up with some fem jtr seeds. im also going to collect some pollen to use on other plants.
