Dyna grow has Protekt and Botanicare has Silica Blast, but will these blend properly with my organic nutes... will they effect taste?

Thanks in advance...

Dude. Silicon dioxide is silicon dioxide.

From Wiki: "Silica is manufactured in several forms including fused quartz, crystal, fumed silica (or pyrogenic silica), colloidal silica, silica gel, and aerogel."

It all comes from silicon.

So what you're saying is that there is no such thing as organic silica? I'm not sure that I follow...

it's a mineral, how can it be organic, BUT it is "approved for organic agriculture." Protekt is best liquid potasium silicate - silica blast is watered down agsil 16, do a search for AGSIL 16, literally pennies on the dollar, silica blast is a joke, "homemade" agsil 16 liquid is prob best (by the powder, dilute with water)

Cool thanks,

do you have any idea if it will effect taste of buds?

I've used and am using dyna gro protect and running a 100% organic soil grow. It makes the plants a little more resilient to attacks by fungi, insects, etc because the cell wall structure is improved...at least that is my understanding....and it has no effect on taste... It also works well as a foliar spray and can help emulsify oils such as neem.

^^^^^ exactly what he said, it strengthens leaves and stems so it becomes more drought heat and cold resistant and not so soft and fleshy turns off pests trying to attack, with regular use you will notice a slight difference, what I like to call meatier leaves. Every watering every foliar gets 2 to 5ml per gal beginning to end, excellent emulsifier for foliars and I wouldn't spray without it
