Hey all,
I'm a lil "green" when compared to most of you growers(5-6 grows) I have been going with some friends unknown seeds that I would consider as "mid-grade".I would like to order some seeds from Sannies or nirvana,I guess I would like to hear from people who have grown seeds from either dist, and what your favorite "flavors" are?
4x8 room,2 400 watt mh/hps,dwc,gh nutes,great ventilation(no heat issues).
I'm not a medical user I just enjoy a great high when my work day is finished! What are some suggestions?
Thanks for any info!!

Dux.

Nirvana has some decent strains, never used sannies though so I cant comment on them.
The best I've done with Nirvana was with their Pure Power Plant and their White widow. Both did well indoors and outdoors ( you don't specify which you are doing ) The power plant is a very good producer of fairly large buds that smoke very nice after curing. The white widow I found to be too 'intense' not in strength but in the type of high. Kind of like a jackhammer behind your eyes, hard to explain. Many like it very well, I didn't. It grows nice and bushy, and produces a large amount of medium colas. Succeptible to mold, so watch out for it. Also does not like to be overfed so go easy on feeding it.
I tried growing their Ice as well but did not have much luck with it, my fault I am sure as I was growing it outside and the cold and stormy weather hit befor it was ready.
Not to disparage Nirvana, but I kind of look on them as the walmart of seed suppliers. I have since gone with other companies that have better genetics more to my liking.
I grew the Power Plant for 3 years and everybody who tried some liked it, and it remained my bread and butter crop for all three years. I think, if I remember correctly, that I pulled about 1 1/4 lb average off of my outdoor grown ladies. I grew in 45 gal. smart pots. May do better in the ground or with bigger containers. It was the first grow I ever did, so with better experience it could probebly do better.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help

Dinafem Blue Widow (photo) or their White Widow Auto - mine grew to 48" high, 52" wide in a 5 gallon DWC. Good bud!!

Everything but 2 oz of fully dried and cured bud and it was my 1st attempt at hydro. Very forgiving plant. I think a guy could get that yield in good soil from one. I also think somebody who knows hydro could have easily gotten double the yield. I settled for it being my initial lesson in hydro.

I sayn that about yield but I was forced, due to frigging unannounced visitors, to put the WWA under 12/12 when she was about 3 weeks old. Her growth slowed noticeably after being 20/4 until then.

I have a White Label White Skunk freebie living in her old DWC now. Rockin' & rollin' @ 18/6.

I've been growing G13 labs white Widow for 4 years this January I got one Bean as a freebie when I did and order. I always order from attitude, and always recommend them, I've had great service. That 1 WW bean was a keeper in my book, and has been my main genetics. I've had 4-6 other strains in that time, but the growth patterns, and or quality have always made me pass after a few harvests. I'm waiting on a C99, and a lemon skunk to germinate right now, I'm gonna give them a try next. I've collected about 9 seeds from over 20 harvests and just started 3 of those the other day also. Those germinated and broke ground in about 36 hours I was so excited. Its been about 72 waiting on the lemon skunk and C99, so I'm really hoping to see them in the next day.

I haven't tried Sannies yet, although I would love to, but I hear you can't go wrong with any of his strains, so just chose one that sounds good to you and give it a shot.

A personal recommendation:
G13 labs Pineapple Express is an excellent strain. It is very hardy, big yielder, frosty, tastes and smells great. It has plenty of vigor and finishes in 8-9 weeks. I definitely recommend it to start with. The buzz is wonderful as well. It's not going to knock you out like some strains, but for an average user it is more than enough.

If you are looking at Sannies, basically go with anything that appeals to you. Sannie is a quality breeder and those he does business with are all quality breeders as well.
From Breeder's Choice at Sannies, Chocolate Rain is a very nice, old school type smoke.
