I plan on going guerrilla this year. I'm searching out tips for what has worked and also anything that can help. I've grown outdoors in the ground every year. but nothing big. I have 86 acres but with hills and lots of trees. finding the right location for the proper sun. I live in a farm and have access to cow poop horse poop and chicken poop kinda wanna keep low budget. any suggestions I would love to hear as I wanna know what I'm doing before I jump straight in. thanks.

Hi, there are a few things to consider. Make sure the plants get a good healthy start, around 12 inches before planting outside. Also your going to want to harden them off before actually putting them outside into the ground with a good soil mix. Something like a pro-mix would be great then you could just add some manure like you said you have or if you dont want to buy any soil just buy a few bags of perlite and mix it with the native soil. Make sure to get the right strain that is suitable for your Lat. If you have a short season make sure to get quicker flowering strains probably an indica La Confidential or northern lights are two that come to mind. Depending on how many you plan to grow dont plant them all together, spread them out and make sure to get the most sunlight possible. best of luck.

IDK about fresh cow/horse manure but chicken shit can be a lil hot. I heard rabbit shit is great. You can topdress as you got once there in the ground. Try to find out your local seasonal bug patterns so you can combat them effectively. I treat the area with a serious insecticide, and a week before I treat the area again. Then just maintain vigil looking under your leaves. You'd be surprised how far 6 tablespoons of dish soap along with some Neem/BT per gal will go. Hope this helps and welcome to RIU.

First off tell NO ONE. That being said ammend your soil however you see fit. You mentioned poop so I assume you're gonna go organicish. Just pick up some lime and bone meal. You can grab em both for cheap. If you're planting around a lot of cammo plants or right on the middle of em be sure to amend or topdress their soil as well. It'll make sure your cover plants stay nice and vigorous as well. Extra score if they're blackberry bushes. I always had tasty berries this year when I would check on the girls. Big tasty fatty berries.

thanks guys. yes I'm gonna go ahead and try to keep it organic. I'm starting my holes now. I have 2 dug already. I know chicken poop is really hot but im adding early before winter so that the soil is nice and fertilized. I grew a few autos last year this way. which I added horse and chicken manure 3 months ahead of time to the soil and it worked out fine. but of course the compost pile has been sitting for years. I didn't get my reg seeds in time last year. but the autos worked out ok. I really want to go more on the sativa side we have a good 10 weeks flower time and can go about first couple weeks. my holes 4 feet deep and 4 feet wide. ill never grow autos again outdoors. really wanted to grow super silver haze but paying that much for them from mrn and not sure if they willfinish intime would sucks.

yep chicken poo is really hot but perfect as long as you get in the soil before winter for next season and horse poo is what I was told to use over cow pooh. 2 years ago I grew a g13 labs strain called gigabud and man did it grow some nice big buds. they list as a indoor strain as I found alittle mold but nothing to much. also I see a lot of people dis on ch9 seeds I grew there vintage 2006 and it was killer.

find a spot high up with good soil or take in your own. more light nicer nugs. stay out of valleys. dew in the morning will mold your plants in valeeys. spray neem on them once a month. dont show anyone

Put some cages around them for rabbits and dear, they got mine every time, they would just munch on them.
Good luck And do like 3 plots in case 1 or 2 go to shit.
