I was thinking just now...
In States that allow patients to grow their own medicine, there is of course a limit to the number of plants that may be grown.
Could one circumvent this rule by layering? Not air layering and cutting the branch, but if you lst'd a branch (or several) and trained it low and over to an empty pot. Could you then layer the branch into the pot, giving it a complete new root system for that cola but leave it connected to the original plant. They are still one plant, but you have the advantage of having 2 (or more) clone sized plants. This is like a scrog but with multiple root systems.
I know you can layer some plants in this way but I would like to hear some thoughts on whether this would work with cannabis.
