This is not so hard.

Everyone knows which foods turn you diesel.
The "problem" is that the good stuff requires a little bit of planning or preparation. And the slop is hot and ready to go, 24 hours a day with no effort.
Eat breakfast. Make sure it includes protein. Have some oatmeal, fruit or veggies to round it out.
Get Protein in Before workouts.
Get Protein and carbs in after workouts. Include vegatbales.
Eat dinner. Include protein, then vegetables.
No pop tarts. No Doritos. No Mt. Dews.
Everyone already knows this stuff. Eat this way all the time. If you fuck up one meal every three days, you're still eating well over 90% of the time. When you do fuck up, or "cheat" or whatever, just get back on track next meal.
