This is my first grow and i can honestly things have went well. Thanks to this forum and friends i feel like i did a really good job. Although ive run into what i believe is a problem. Everything smelled great at the end of drying. Nice and strong. As ive started curing. It seems ive lost that smell. Its very grassy and plant like smell. Buds look very nice. Humidity in the jars avg around 65 and temp around 65-68. Do i just need to be patient?

Let them burp for about 10 mins 2x a day. Roll the jar half way thru each burp to make sure you let air hit everything. Once you get your humidity down to 58-60 seal it up for 3 weeks before opening again. That stank will return. Patience is a virtue.

You may have chopped too soon, dried too quickly, or both, and sorry to say, no amount of curing will fix it.

Don't despair, we've all done it.

There is plenty of info on here regarding when to harvest as well as best practices for drying.

Yep. I’d personally dump em out and spread them evenly then leave overnight. Keep doing that and the grass smell will go. Look to jar around 58-60 and you’re good!
Wait? Keep doing that? Like every night and jar them during the day? Sorry. Didnt fully understand

Yea, so spread em out, leave overnight then jar in morning. Wait 12hrs or so or before bed and check RH in the jar. Keep doing that until it’s 58-62% then you can jar and leave them be.

If your house is very dry, 20-40% humidity the process will happen much faster. Might only need to do it once or twice
