Basically some stuff went down and I got ended up being diagnosed with schizo affective disorder. Because of this my doctor took me off of dexedrine, my mom doesn't want me taking it anymore. They think it contributes to paranoia and stuff.

Is there anyway I can get back on the meds?
They really do help me.

I'm 28...

Will the medical records follow me around? Am I doomed because of a few bad days wherein they thought my thinking was delusional?

Can you explain this a little better?
ACA=obamacare; insurance provider=example blue cross. They keep your med records in house, so if you change Drs, yes the med files will follow you if you seek coverage under the same umbrella.
Ex. I'm retired now, but when working I was covered under Anthem/Blue Cross. I'm a ciggie smoker and have high blood pressure. About a year after I began seeing my Dr, I started receiving "how to quit smoking literature from the ins co.; about 6 mo after being diagnosed with high BP, I began getting literature on HBP from the ins co. Point is that your Dr. is not the only one to peruse your med files. If you switch Docs but are still covered by same provider, the new Doc will see your files

I got paranoid about all the people using little i' s, I felt like an outsider and I felt like people were forming a dossier about me.

I'm really hoping I can convince my doctor it was just a freak thing, or a few bad incidences. I feel like I've literally lost a leg since losing my medication. I was prescribed decedrine for things like trouble concentrating, low energy, not feeling very enthused. Iirc.

Was prescribed ritalin and various meds since I was 6, and they DO help!

Seriously Gregg, "i's" are self identifying; basically an honest letter. Capitol "I's" and lower case "l's" are hiding something
