AR15, poo. cn

problem with a shotgun is that you can't pick off targets at 500 meters like an ar15 can, not to mention the ar15 is the most customizable gun on the planet and has the most accessible ammunition of any gun in production. Still if I could afford it I'de buy a shotty too.

500 meters is extreme for an AR, even a big-money custom job. For long range, I'd recommend a bolt-action rifle in a suitable chambering - not a .22 or 6mm. cn

I always look at the sky. every night. lately i've noticed a lot more shooting stars. anyone else see this? are we having a meteor shower or are we passing through some shit? i've never seen so many in my life and i've looked at the sky daily/nightly for at least 20 years. just a random blazed thought. if anyone else has noticed this or knows why that would be cool.
Your so lucky to be able to witness this, all you can see here in England is cloud not that you can look at the sky without getting a fateful of rain

i was in the marines using govt issue m 16s, they have no problem taking a target at 500 yards (no scope, only iron sights). these are standard stock ar15s. bolt action for 500 yards+ but the problem with that is what will you do for multiple target within 100 yards? not much with bolt action, but with a semi auto ar15 you can take care of that scenario and the 500 yard scenario with one gun. not to mention you can get a shotgun and grenade launcher attachment for the ar15. all about practicality, would you rather carry around a shotgun and a bolt action rifle or one rifle that can take care of both jobs? see what i'm getting at?
