What is so interesting about window panes ? I have never tried.
Woud like to know its differences compared to a "normal" hit of lsd.

It's mainly just a gimmick. People will pay out the butt for them just cause they don't always come around. Assuming they don't in your area.
As for substrate difference it's interesting. Some of them are flavored. Which can be a turn off since they do that to cover up RCs. But assuming it tested Lysergic, you are good =)
I found gel tabs I got were quality L =) Very. But that's the crystal obviously.
I personally like them more than blotter but at the end of the day it's not dramatically different. It just looks like candy =)

I've had windowpane that was just L laid on a see through gelatin, almost like fruit rollup texture... But it wasnt any better than the blotter, wow or printed available at the time. In the same period there were also little orange/yellow LSD microdots being sold as mescaline that were pretty good but weak.
