Day 72 of 12/12

Started her 10th week of actual flower yesterday. Still bulking up and still throwing out some new white pistils but a lot of the calyxes are starting to swell now and suck them back in. I'm in no rush so when's she's ready, she's ready. 20220526_222259.jpg

Day 79 of 12/12

Started Week 11 of Flower yesterday. Shes starting to show some signs of calcium lockout due to me possibly going a lil heavy handed on the potassium amending couple weeks ago. With her being close to being ready (in my opinion, correct me if I'm wrong please!!) I'm wondering if fixing the amending any calcium would have enough time to correct or if I should just let her go til finish??

If anybody has any advice, let me know!!

Started week 12 of actual flower today. Running Amnesia Haze Fast from Seedsman. Ain't nothing fast about this ol girl at all lol!! She's still chugging along. Still drinking a lot and continuing to swell. Still have some minor foxtailing going on. Will continue to watch for that harvest window to open up soon!!

To start out i acquired an old mini fridge with outside dimensions of 27"H x 19"W x 16"D

Began the process of gutting the interior of the fride to maximize usable inside space. Process took all of about 2 hours.

With the compressor out of the way it left me room to mount my power strip and run all my wires through a light trap

Not overly concerned with smell (now that its legal in my state) but still decided on a simple DIY carbon scrubber.

After a failed germination of a pretty old Trainwreck bagseed i was gifted an Amnesia Haze Fast Feminized seed of Seedmans genetics from a buddy of mine. seed cracked within 24 hours in paper towel germination method, but upon waking up next morning the paper towels had dried up so off into a pot of Happyfrog watered with Ph'd water it went.

Heres the whole setup as it sits right now. After a few weeks in veg will transplant into 5 gallon smart pot with Natures Living Soil concentrate filling bottom of pot and rest Happyfrog. Planning on trying a water only method thru entire grow with lots and lots of LST, as ive only got about 14 inches of vertical grow space above height of pot. also planning on Scrogging as well. Temps and humidity are pretty dialed in sitting at about 79 F and 65-70% humidity with no extraction fan running. with fan going full speed i can get temps down to about 73 and humidity levels down below 50%.

As of today, the bean has sprouted! had an issue with taproot arching up through the soil so buried it a little further and this morning i woke up to it finally breaking the surface.

Lol, yea, it's definitely been a fun journey with this little fridge but I'm ready to move on to bigger projects. If I ran this fridge again I'd most likely chop the ledge out of the back of it so I could utilize the whole foot print of it

Started Week 14 of actual flower today. Not a whole lot has changed. Seems to have stopped throwing out new pistils except for the foxtailing portions which im expecting is because of how close they are to the lights and cant dim it on this model.

Wondering how much longer I should let her go lol

Hmm. Fourteen weeks is a while but that’s a lot of new pistils.. I had a plant like this recently, I think I went like 16 weeks before I pulled it still looking like that lol.

Yea with Amnesia Haze being sativa dominant, I expected a longer flowering time despite it being a "fast version" lol. But sheesh, she is taking her sweet time haha

Just hit the 100 day mark since the flip!! Took a couple pics before lights on this morning and i cannot wait to harvest this little beauty!!

I know I showed a sneak peak of my next grow cab a few months ago, but I've almost reached completion of the build. Gotta finish up a few details on it and it'll be ready to go!!

I'm going to start a thread on the design and build once everything is complete, but I just wanted to show it off for now haha

In other news, I stumbled upon the SIP thread and out of 260 some odd pages I've read almost every post half way through it and I'm really leaning towards figuring out a way to cram a few SIPs in this cabinet!! Being an all around DIY person those will most likely be custom made as well to fit my Grow cab.

If you look close you can see the size difference between the mini fridge and the next cabinet lol.
