I see this question pretty regular. Curious if there is a good reason for meter over ph drops. Drops are very accurate and very cheap. Test both water in and out. Is measuring ph in soil better then measuring outflow?

ive always used drops myself, only reason i would invest in a meter is if i switched from soil to hydro. i would get a proper one then.

ph drops are for measuring the waters ph (without nutes).
ph drops are used for fish tanks(water testing).
the most important test is by using a soil ph probe about 12hrs after feeding/watering.
the soils ph is of the only important thing you need to measure after feeding and soaking into the soil.
