i have an 8 week old plant and the lower fan leaves are turning brown and curling at the tips but all the top fan leaves are really healthy, any advice to give would be great i am new to growing and still learning

^Agreed. It could also be a low-light situation. Plants will start to shed their lowest leaves, when they get too shaded, which is common, when growing indoors.
On second thought,...they usually turn yellow and drop off, not brown and crispy. Probably lack of food, whether it be PH, or not enough in the soil.

i am using some herb veg food that ive used on my herb gardens before idk if im not using enough also i just started using the plant food this week

as for the brown its most likely a ph problem due to lack of phosphorous feed it with a high p ratio and monitor your ph
