is this normal? im 2 weeks into flowering. I had 10 weeks of veg. the lowest fan leaves that come out of the main stem are falling off. the rest of the plants seem healthy and are flowering nicely. is it because the lower stuff isn't getting as much light?

cool, thanks everyone. the plants are a bit taller than I was going for. with the 5 gallon pot, they are about 4 feet tall...maybe 4.5 feet. theres no flowering going on down at the bottom. I'm going to add some pics for fun

Hey question for the op.
did the leaves get dark green and cup/wilt downward before they started falling off?
I am experiencing the same thing as you, and that is how it started.

yes they did. literally looked like they were dying. cupped down. some went yellowish. some went dark greenish

Same thing with me, 2 weeks into flower. I felt like the leaves were wilting up due to lack of light also.
its almost like the plant re-prioritized its resource disbursements to the upper portion of the plant.
Sounds like we are in the clear

Most likely from a lack of nitrogen when they were going thru there stretch. Its the fastes growth spurt they go thru and need plenty of N.
I started running my veg nutes thru stretch and stopped the problem.
