You can easily fix it by giving it more nutrients and it will perk back up within a couple of weeks. Also, when you say you're using a 600watt LED is it a brand name one or is it a cheap one from Amazon with purple light because if it's a cheaper one with purple light then the light distance is fine but if it's like a really expensive LED then I would have it as far away from the plants as possible and dim it to 25%

There's no way it's overfed and has nute burn, look at it. It's light green in color and the bottom leaves are yellowing which is a massive sign of a mobile nutrient deficiency, you even said you are using the nutrients very moderately so it's impossible to be nute burnt lol :bigjoint:
Only reason i say nute burn is cause earlier in the thread someone mentioned it as a potential cause. I dunno man this part of the growing is always a tricky one for me

Btw i dunno how clear it is in the photo but the yellowing messed up leaves aren’t fan leaves but the first growth after the cotyledons (no fingers). I’ve been told these die out soon enough. Seems too soon though no ?

If it's purple you should be fine with the distance, I would probably up your nutrients and within a few weeks the problem should go away :)
You think the RO water could have something to do with the deff. ? I mean the process does squeeze out all minerals and chemicals after all, many of which could be of benefit to the plant (calcium etc..)

Yeah they don't normally yellow, only the cotyledons yellow and die off, you've definitely got a nutrient deficiency

Yeah man, if you are using RO water I believe you are also supposed to use cal-mag

New growth looks fine so just pluck those ugly leaves off and keep doing what you're doing. Maybe cut back on how wet your getting that potting mix.

Gonna keep the light at a distance and start watering with distilled water instead of the RO for now, see what that gives.
