they say use a few drops per gallon but i would just spend the $10 and get some ph up/down.its worth the money and works better.

You want to lower the ph of your nutrient solution in order to lower the ph in your soil. Vinegar works well to lower ph (it is acidic) and baking soda works to raise it (basic).

Cheap and easy. Just add small amounts at a time until you get it where you want it.

Aim to have your ph in the water slightly lower than you want your soil to be but not too low 6.2 should be fine,
just add some vinegar /ph down stir the water and let it sit for a bit then check the ph,also some nute's have ph correction
so you might wanna mix all your nutes up and then lower the ph,test the ph of the water before adding anything to it ,it
will give you some idea of where you stand!!

Cannabis likes 6.5 - 6.8 if I remember correctly. Get a fertilizer for acid loving plants and your problems are solved.

Or pickup some aluminum sulphate from your garden supply store and mix 1 TBLS to 5 gal of water.

I don't recommend lemon or vinegar

there are lots of things that affect the ph you need to check your water after adding anything to adjust your ph. I don't check mine every time now but I did untill I figured out what it was doing. I shoot for 6-7

There is a product that you can get to lower the ph of soil it's called
sulfate of ammonia you put it on the top of the soil and work it in a bit,
i just researched this and it works, the water will help it percolate down through the soil
add it in small amounts until the desired ph is reached,it is also water soluable!!

You forgot to say how much N and sulfur is in it. ya think those might cause other issues? I've used lemon juice for years now with no problems. But what the hell it's just my thoughts

or you could add a lil Espoma soil acidifer to the tops of your pots and when you water its will change the soil ph
its 30% sulpher organic and safer than aluminum sulphate

how accurate is the ph tester? is it digital? i know mine that isn't digital always says its 7-7.5. but in fact is not. use a ph drop kit to ensure accuracy. but if you want ph down, buy ph down. i think the kit with both ph up and down with the tester i'm was refering to before is only $15 at most grow shops.
