del66666 Well-Known Member Nov 5, 2011 #2 probably be ok but how long would it hold the ph for, may not be stable, lemon juice works but why not just be sensible and buy ph down.

Calidadd Active Member Nov 5, 2011 #7 different fish require different PH levels. They wont ask you a thing. Maybe what kind of fish you have, in which case you answer "it not for me. It's for my little brothers aquarium" or whatever you want to tell them.
