kellogs patio plus http://www.lowes.com/pd_195114-11628-681_0__?productId=1056391&Ntt=kellogs&pl=1&currentURL=?Ntt=kellogs&facetInfo=

some perlite, just make sure it has no nutrients because I know the miracle grow type has nutrients. And last some compost.

start plants directly in the kellogs patio and cook some soil while vegging
33% peat moss 33% perlite 33% compost or worm castings
use about 3-5 cups of plant tone per cubic foot of soil and cook for at least a month

"Cook" just means to let it set and give the micro-organisms time to establish themselves. Keep the soil moist during this time.

Pro-mix from Lowe's..you can amend it like you would to make and organic soil or just add perlite to it and it'll work kinda like a hydro medium but you have to start feedings from the very beginning as it holds no nutritional value.....for money saving mix go with Black Gold organic soil add perlite and a dash of dolomitic lime you should be good to go for a couple weeks or so...for a lil extra love mix a lil bone and blood meal too it .

The mix I posted is a complete mix with the exception of dolomite lime which I forgot add 1 cup per cubic foot of soil mix .....use just those ingredients let cook for a month while your plants veg.......plant directly into your cooked soil and just add water until the end.....if it runs out of steam then just top dress with plant tone.

Plant tone is derived from : Hydrolyzed Feather Meal, Pasteurized Poultry Manure, Bone Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Greensand, Humates, Sulfate of Potash, and Sulfate of Potash Magnesia

Plant tone also contains beneficial bacteria.

just found out my local nursery has black gold....and I know to wait 30 days too cook...do I transplant 2 weeks befor flower or can I use this in veg...I was going to go from red solo cup then after 7-10 days transplant in too 1 gallon bucket then wait 30 days after to transplant in to 5 gallon bucket....what would I use in my one gallon pot
