just as i thought got 1 male 1 female, so ive got rid of the male, just germing another. out of 10 seeds ive had 3 male, 2 female, 1 perished and 1 is just germing now.. ive got 3 left. considering doing an afropips tribal vision grow next, looks like a nice plant will also save on the lightning being 12/12 from week 1.

quick update.just germed another today its just started to come up threw the soil, hopefully, will be a female. the bigplant buds are getting thicker by the day, the smell is really sweet and fruity almost citrusy. opened here up today to let the light get into the centre more. everything seems to be going to plan so far.

had a little accident 2 days ago, was adjusting the smaller plant when i leaned over to far on a branch and split it, about 80% of the branch came away from the stem. it was one of the bigger budding branches aswell.
i tied it up to the main stem as best i could 2 days ago, and it seems to be doing fine, it didnt wilt or nothing its like it didnt even happen. ive added some pics of the split and how i tied it up, should be adding some more pics of the plant soon.not long till harvest now should be ready early september.

ive been away from the net for a couple of weeks due to wireless problems, the plant has since been harvested, and buds are drying as i type, ive posted some pics of the plant 2 days before harvest, and some shots of the harvest freshly picked, ill let you lads know the dry weight and smoke report as soon as its ready, im going to estimate about 2 ounce when dry, not bad for a first grow, and on the cheap ,just good old soil,250w cfl, and nutes. ive got 1 more auto ak in the tent a month away from harvest, she looks even bigger than the previous one. just ordered some greenhouse fem white widow, which ill start a jornal on next if i get time. the dates are on the pictures so should indicate the time scale from small plant to harvest.

did you ever find out the exact dry weight? good job by the way
yeh dry weight after week and a half of drying was around 2 1/4 ounce, the smoke is quite nice to, sort of a creeping buzz, not a couch lock feeling, more of a head ruch buzz. thanks for the comments cheers

omg 2 1/4 oz im gona do a lowryder strain not shure witch yet i heard of 1 oz but two wow im doing babys thow i want small so i can do like 25 r 30 at a time in a sog

i agree. that looks like 1.5 oz at most. that is assuming the picture with the CD in it is of wet.
a good rule is dry weight = 1/4 wet weight.
about 75% is water

just planted one of the seeds i had germing today, ive noticed with these seeds that they need to be cracked after soaking, for the sprout to emerge. i left one to emerge naturally a couple of weeks back but it never came out. anyone else experienced this with this strain?
I have no experience with this strain, but I will soon. It seems you either put the seed down too far and or packed it too tight

First post here and ive read this thread with great interest, as ive got a couple of grassomatic auto AK on at the moment. When did you harvest by days? was it the 70-75 as advised? A lot of folks doing auto's seem to allow an extra couple of weeks on top for it all to properly mature, do you think the smoke would have been less creeping and more couch lock if they went a bit longer?
