DAY 27: Growing great, watering tomorrow most likely.. Also gonna get some more tape to tape the magnets on i guess.. I wish there was another way though.

quick question i know that before i asked if those small thing that start with a C were supposed to turn yellow and die or whatever, but are those smaller bottom leaves theres like 1 or 2 of them, you can see in the picture. Is that supposed to do that?

I don't think so.. I would look into what nitrogen deficiencies look like. They start yellowing because they aren't getting enough nitrogen to produce chlrophyll which is a big part of photosynthesis. Otherwise Lucy looks very happy.

You probably have nitrogen dude. You're probably having a nutrient lockout...and so your plant can't use any of the nitrogen in the soil... due to p fucking h problems... seriously dude just get a ph kit.

Yeah, but just letting it sit out evaporates chlorine and thats about it. You can still have water with a ph of 8.0 or 5.0 for example after it has been sitting out. You want to find a medium between your soil and water. If you soil is 5.5, you want to get it around 6.5 -7.0, so you need to water it with water that has a ph of 6.5 or 7.0. But lets say your water has a ph of 8.0. You would need to lower it to 7.0 before your soil is balanced, otherwise you might be increasing your soil's ph to 8.0 which is too alkaline. pH is very important, man. It's easy to fix too if you have a ph control kit and a soil ph meter.

Makes since, well i looked up "kirkland spring waters pH" on google and it came up with a 7.0. 7.0 Plus letting it sit out for 24 hours should make it be a bit lower right?

I would just give it a quick flush with some neutral water, then slowly ween it back onto what ever nutrients your giving it.

To be fine, only thing that I see somewhat not good would be the yellow on 1 or 2 of the very very bottom leaves.. I don't think it is a problem though because they are like touching the soil -.- I will see I guess haha
