Lowryder #1 First Grow

Hey Arch, wait for 2 weeks and try it again then, you will see a distinct difference in smoke, high and taste:) I plan to let mine cure for 4 weeks, at least that is my intention:)

Im not too sure that there will be a difference in high, curing doesnt magically create more THC, it just affects the smoke and taste, potency pretty much stays the same, if anything it might be slightly lower because it degrades over time.

hey kev, no offense but i gotta disagree on that point... from my own experience, smoking my sour diesel two days after chop gave me a 45-minute high. after 6 weeks cure, more like a 3 hour high. big difference, and the increase was steady, gradually increasing as weeks went by. now that it's 13 weeks cure, i'm noticing that it's starting to degrade a bit, but that's probably because i've exposed it to too much light.... anyway, don't mean to start a fight or anything, but this is what i've noticed, and i've been paying close attention :)

actually you are correct, I was not specific enough with my statement. Its kinda like harvesting at different times brings different effects, curing probably allows more of the THC to change to other cannabinoids( however you spell that) giving a heavier stoney high compared to fresh non cured weed. So what I meant is that curing does not increase concentrations of cannabinoids but it can alter the ratios

Most of EVERY weed i have EVER smoked has been somewhat harsh..I can't wait to see if this is smooth.. Ohh.. this will be great, i see you can't keep your hands off of it haha

EDIT: Didn't know there was a page 87 lol.. Cool conversation you guys have going on, i learn every day something new im serious!

DAY 62 (DAY 1 OF DARK PERIOD): Don't notice much of a change, i have till Wednesday for the darkness then shes getting chopped :)



EDIT: LOL for some reason she looks really really different from last pics....COOL!

a day more? not sure what you mean...

you're doing 2 more days of darkness, then chop & hang, wait 3-5 days. checking a couple times a day as it's hanging, feel for a crispy exterior but stems still somewhat bendy. then it's ready for jars + burping. because your plant is on the small side, it may not take as long as 5 days, but also depends on how temp & humidity of your drying space.

I meant hang for an estra day, you covered it though.
I forgot about the stem thing where if its bendable barely you jar it for curing. Thanks, im ready!!
And yeah 2 more days of dark.

Yeah well i usually took the pics right infront of the grow box with lights on still, then they were off and put away so i guess thats why lmao.

It's lookin good!!! just be patient..... 72 hours of darkness meens ALL darkness...... no peeking.... don't let it see light.

Yeah not cool stoney! Jk, he's right, you really don't wanna mess with the dark period. It'll suck waiting it out but you'll be glad you did.
