oh this grow journal can have replies i dont care.... new updated pics coming my homemade charcoal filter. it works great i smoke in my room and this thing sucks it up and blows out nothing just odorless air this with a candle or somethin should keep all smell away... : )

also i am using 3 LEDs on the sides only 10watts a piece and the cfl it 6700k x2, there are two bulbs in there and in about a month i will but a 250watt hps mh ballast off htg supply. total setup cost for me as of right now plus seeds and stuuf is around 250 - 300 invested..

so i have been patiently waiting on my seeds to get here its been 6 business days so it should be soon.. but i have ben practicing on germing and which method works the best and proper nutes. and ph balancing.... here are some two day old bagseeds 12 out of 15 germed.... i cant wait for my easyryders to get here along with the blue hash and california hash seeds...:leaf:

alright i got my seeds 3 days ago it took 7 business days from attitude seedbank. and as of right now i have four baby easy ryders growing. i have one im worried about the others look fine. the one im worried about is missing a leaf and has white ashy tips? but it is a good healthy green. my ph is at 6.4 in hydro and my ppm is at 120

I thought ph for hydro grows was suppose to be like 5.2. Anyway you got a nice setup there brotha. all stealthy, no one going to see that pot. good luck

on day three much more progress... my lil ugly step child of a plant is lookin way better and im guessing i might have spilt some nutes on my hydroton and then rubbed on my plant. making half of it melt from nutes. idk??? prolly gonna get 4 grams off that lol!!! or maybe it will be stressed and make 2oz... HAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah i just did my first res change i was so excited my good one had a root out the bottom and everything.... but i fear i have stressed them maybe it wont be to bad... anyways learning experience i suppose... i changed out the res and filled it back up treated the ph down to 5.8 and put nutes back in it... WELL i used the wrong damn nutes (big bloom)... after 30 min. all my girls were laying over and lookin pathetic.. thats wen i noticed it.. i quickly flushed the res. washed it out and put the right nutes in it(grow big). they look back to normal exept now i can not find that root out the bottom of the net pot soo im guessing it got burnt off or somethin.... i will take pics tonight....

widow i was wondering if you could subscribe and help me out with this grow.... should a keep the water running or should i turn it on every few hours to soak the roots cause my roots are still not out the bottom of the net pots...... new photos are of my exhaust i just made... lol total dyi..:peace:

ok well i did some work on my grow tote i added a net pot put the drip lines in the sides of the net pots and it looks so much better... but i fear that i have stressed them once again... but oh well this is my first grow and i accept some B.S. but hey next grow my babies are gonna be unstoppable

so here is day 8 for my lowryders and day 2 for my california hash.... one of my easyryders is sick.. one is deformed and two are great... the cali hash is also doing great..

GREAT DIY system you got there. You did good to cover those feeder tubes, to keep algae out.

In my humble opinion, pH for Hydro should 5.6 to 5.9 at best, but anything between 5.5 to 6.9 will do for a while.

Your grow looks great to me. I'd get a couple of 2700K CFLs to get the DUAL Spectrum needed, until you get the HPS lights.
I'd run the water pump feeders 24/7, I do.

And it was not the WRONG nute that did the damage, it was the amount you used. Babies eat very little.

thanks roseman well its day 9 i have pics... the small one is of my cali hash 3 days old... but i also have zero roots out the bottom of the netpots??? but growth is speeding up...... oh and my local hydroshop is cuttin me a deal and gettin me some clones.. purple kush. the light i will be getting is a 300watt cfl for 125USD not bad..

IF it is a solid hard stream, it will drown them. If it is a bubbley trickle with bubbles of air in the water, it will not. Mine trickles bubbley water and air.
