Hi,

Is it possible to grow Lowryder from start to finish under florescent lights? If so, how many 4ft florescents would I need to cover a square metre? And what Wattage? And is it true that I need a warm white and a cool white under each hood?

Its very possible and ive seen it done. you need about a min of three 4 ft 2 bulb units.. each bulb is 40 watts and yes a mix of cool and warm is good. there is another one for vegging im not sure its warm white? I have all cool white in mine and its going better than i thought it would.. I emplimented my cfl to the top cola to help get her thick. I would say anything you can do to surround it for maximun coverage is good... My buddy uses them horizontal and three units for 4 plants. he gets about a half z per plant si yeah its fine. I use mine vertical to get all the plant hitting the light zone. I have 4 one on all sides surrounding the plant they work no worries and you can get them right up on it since the bulbs have no heat

Because they only live for 8 weeks, with a decent-enough soil, I won't need to use any nutes will I? And what size pots is the minimum for lowryder (in litres, if possible :P).

Cheers.

I spoke recently with a guy who flowered under 8 T5 orange tubes, which is 40 000 lumens, which is sufficient enough for 6 - 10 lowryders, approx one 400w mh lamp if im not mistaken. Just make sure they are T5 which are automatically HO (high output) which most T8's and T12"s arent. I also heard that theyre coming out with T2's, a 10 000 lumen fl tube 2 inches in diameter, with twice the output as the T5's and less than half the space.
I use 5 T5's for my pre veg chamber, allowing just over a foot of growth

the price of t5 is ungodly high t12 are non HO yes but they work just fine dont let anyone tell you they dont.. obviously the more area you need to cover the more light output could be nessecary.

two liters is good they dont really get massive like other strains
