LP gas line connection for CO2 generaqtor

I'm in the process of building a house and am having a sealed grow room created during the build. The builder needs to know what size pipe/connection for my CO2 generator (which I don't have yet) to connect the regulator to the gas line.

I contacted Titan controls and this is what I received...

"the LP version uses a standard ¼” NPT flared fitting for an LP tank connection"

Does anyone know what size I need coming from the wall? Surely that's not a 1/4 line??? I'm going to have it hard plumbed from the tank buried in the yard.

THANKS!

If you are running black iron pipe, 1/2 inch is more than enough. Keep in mind the pressure your CO2 generator needs might be different than the rest of the gas appliances you will have in the house.

Your burner will run off 1/2 fitting and have a regulator
But depending on how far away the meter is and depending on how many other units share the supply
(How many BTUs are being pulled ) will determine the size of the supply line.
You might need you use 1” in the whole house n swege to 3/4 for furnes n 1/2 for hotwater n room etc.

Bigger supply is better, it’s not easy to change out once the house is done.
I couldn’t run the hot water on demand I wanted , because of the supply line but the one I got can run 3 showers at a time , I was going over kill as the wife loves hot water .

Have you looked at sentinel burners?

I run a sealed room that was built from scratch , if you have any questions ; or need a sounding board; hit me up
