LST gone wrong?!

So today I tried to low stress one of my plants and I accidentally snapped the stem. Do you think that oart is going to die outt or stand back up? I laid it on the side where it snapped just to see if it help. Hopefully I didn't kill my tallest girl :(

they are stronger than you think.. if you put a bandaid on her quickly then i would say no worries.. good luck!

^Definitely. Use duct tape and a pencil or something, as a splint. If it hasn't been that long, it'll heal right up.

They seem to be stuck together already! I just let it lay together with the other piece! it wont even go to the other side no more. I think its already healing on it own. the plants look good.

Did it snap completely? If it didn't, no problem I guess. Did that accidentally too and less than 24h it was healed. If I wasn't in the middle of flowering I would now do some super cropping on them :weed:

rubber bands work great for splicing plants just break the rubber band into a string and wrap from about an inch before and an inch after the break not too tight and not too loose and you will be good

I haven't done anything to them. But its still leaning down the leafs are curing the stem looks like its healing though. Ill snap some pictures to show ya'll.

sounds like a common case of accidental super cropping so no worries youll be fine, plus you might like the results

accidental supercropping, i knew it had a term lol, just did that to mine the other day, broke it completely off, only had a 1 -2 mm wide, paper thin piece of, bark/skin stuck on but i taped it off and figured what the hell, well see whathappens ( have done this twice so far and ended up cloning them successfully) and within a day she has recovered and obviously is getting more nutrients because of it. always keep a piece of tape handy when lsting, or some rooting hormone.


ever hear the myth u can cut right through a tree but if a small piece of bark is intact still, it can recover, i believe the same applies, cut through all the skin and you're screwed.

yes but you usally dont want to do it to this extent it is best to do it with as least stress possible

yeah I knew I did something but wasn't sure what it was. Thanks for the tip. It looks like if I had four main colas. But that might not be right. I have pictures on my journal if you care to look what they see.

Yeah I know lol I wasn't being careful. I was in a rush. But lesson learned.
