LST opinions?

Bend top over and tuck under leaf when starting out, then keep top bent down, once in flower be careful, as they snap easier than in veg, twist and mash stalk below growing tip. What you are looking to do is release all hormones from growing tip and spread through whole plant. No slow up from topping. And does grow bushes. All buds are uniform. And similar in size. No dominate top on plant every branch becomes same. What you need is to get top of plant below arch of stem to release hormones, No tie lst below.16522664359108440284612902857727.jpg

Are you going to do any topping or just some lst I always try to get a over head view and keep the middle as open as I can pulling the colas towards the pots edge. Continuous work through out the grow but good start.

Well, I forgot to mention that it’s an autoflower. So no, no topping, just LST.
Im put off bc of early unvetted auto strains. Got shit seeds, even crap king fem white widow auto was supposed to be 26 % thc females did shit but clones gave up a lb or 2 each outdoors, was really nice too. I used male on breeding strain, ww auto x critical mass x cheese quake, black domina, BC skunk and BC big bud and a few more that l cant remember had an afghanni in there too. So my wild weed is a mutt. Tough as all fuck, comes up march or april and initiates flowering in july. 12 to 15 ft if left to go., about 10ft wide. Cant find pic of it, but this was one that would not branch out of same breed.afghanni behind her got huge in two 15 inch tires stacked up so tap root can tap deep.20210813_094036.jpg

I'd cut that fan leaf extending back over the bend to expose the below stuff to light.
Why those are my best sun catchers, ill tuck them in soon. They feed my plant for the time and veg is still happening, once in flower it may just happen Much nm absorbed by them, most for plant. Leaves are solar pannels. Im not cutting my nose off to spite my face. My plants get light right to floor. So its 1ft square needs all it can to double or triple. Only got a few weeks, to jump jump jump up! If in veg yes but was trying to give it best chance. She will be a bush if i can help it. That strain on last run a 10 to 12 inch plant ended up over 4ft with 3.5 ft cola on top. Secondary leaves need shade to absorb other spectrums like green light and yellow for sure and ir maybe 660nm deep red, penetrating colours. Ty anyways but lll just coast along. Im an old fuck and kinda set in ways now, any new thing isnt happening this run. Im in a v and shooting forward at mach 9000. Not running out on groove im in, bc it does work best lmo! Only! Im not straying this run. A few runs ago l took someones word and subtracted ppms equal to tap water. So 1500 ppm was 1800ppm and burt them day 35, they were 5ft and tent was packed. 70 day veg shot to hell, had to flush for rest of run, turned out well but not again.

Blocking the lowers, that you're trying to expose by LST seems to defeat the purpose.

Regarding LST, when it comes to a small plant placed into a big pot. ...IMO wait until the branches can reach the sides of the pot. Also, if the main top is bent at 90° it should also reach the side of the pot.

I see a lot of people take a tiny plant & just pin it to the dirt. I don't think that works as well as waiting til the plant has some height & the branches some length

I suggest plastic nursery pots. Fabric has no rigidity to anchor to. And just trying for horizontal flowering? Try placing pots on sides while vegging. I just transplanted into final pots at the angle back in the day. And in ground is just over water and step on the stem at base. Gently push them over. It is easy. Just don't be brutal. Anything snaps, cracks or doesn't feel right. Stop there. Try again in a couple days.
