LST question

Hey y'all. This is my 3rd grow, and 1st attempt at LST. I decided to tie the main stalk until I saw mature branching and then topped. It's 46 days old - 12 days into 12/12. Should I stop tying down at this point, or go until I see more than pre-flower?

I researched some more on here and decided to leave the ties alone and let it grow on from here. I'm seeing a few more pistils here and there, and from what I've seen on these forums, it seems like the time to let the tops grow up. Good site for resources. All of the answers are there

Doing pretty good. I think I made the right choice. Seems pretty healthy overall. I'm figuring I'm going to have 6 or 8 good colas. One seems to be dominating, and I hope it turns out so. New at LST, so will see ireckon.

A few problems aside, I think this could turn out to be a decent grow. Some pics

Ya I'd quit tying branches down, when buds start putting weight on the plant will open up some.

When we tie branches down we are redirecting axins around the plant which can stress her out when she should be focused on forming bud sites. Good luck!

Nice structure, but she will still stretch a bit . Let them do their thing .

You can CLEAN UP under growth and tiny underdeveloped buds.

Thanks for the replies. Pistils were just starting to stand up semi-widespread when I let it ride. It seems to be working out. I have been cleaning out leaves here and there... The ones that look to be suffering in the darkness.

The stretch on this one has gone on longer than my last two (non-LST) grows. Is that because of the LST?
